The year in posts & readers

It’s the time of the year when some bloggers recount how many thousands of visitors they had in the previous year and various other astounding statistics (maybe even as an infographic!)

So, here goes:

Some people read Walt at Random last year. A very few people even commented (plus thousands of spammers, to be sure).

The actual numbers are neither especially trustworthy (how many were people and how many were spambots and spiders?) nor particularly interesting.

    Love this post!

    Thanks Walt, I’m one of those who read this blog last year. However, I don’t remember whether I was one of the very few people who commented. There should be statistics for those who think about commenting but who don’t actually do so.

    (Pssst: long ago we served on a jury together and shared a frustrating experience that I remember all too well… You were an excellent foreman but we couldn’t get to that unanimous verdict of Guilty…)
