Got to work at 7 a.m. (as usual), with rain on and off.
And the temperature in the mid to high 50s.
And mostly, frogs out en masse in the creek/marsh, as evidenced by the croaking.
Which, actually, I can hear from my desk (through the closed windows) as I finish lunch.
There are a lot worse ways to start a Friday morning. The rain’s let up, and I see several people strolling the path around the marsh.
Maybe time to do the same myself.
Oh what I would give for a taste of signs of life! It’s been cold – surface of the moon cold – up my way for awhile. Enjoy!!!! (sorry I am late on this… seems my switch from Bloglines to Google Reader hasn’t COMPLETELY resolved the Lateness of Feeds issue….) jenn
Thanks for the comment (you’re hardly late–that post just went up yesterday afternoon!). I don’t think I could hack that kind of cold–actually, the most recent Midwinter in Philadelphia pretty well proved that (and it was a balmy 16 Above, a lot better than some places have been getting this week). Heat I can handle. Cold…not so much.
