“Nightmarish if not impossible” sounds about right to me. Just as a qualitative analysis of blog posts themselves seems nearly impossible (at least from this perspective). Someone with a WHOLE lot better tools and resources than I have might be able to do a quant analysis of tags/categories, but…not me.

Hmm – I wonder if ISI does anything like that.

I’m intrigued at the growth and posting frequency of book/review blogs, as opposed to other groups.
